Request for Cancellation or Alternative Assessment for IB May 2026 Exams in the Middle East

Sign it I have deep trauma from the missiles I was near the fairmont at time of attack I cannot do the exams

pls cancel them i dont want to be terrified in the middle of my exam like 2x anxiety. but like alhamdulilah for UAE and their defence

Studying for the IB externals has been stressful for me especially whats going on in my country

Iam lebanese and iam mentally suffering my family is there.

Please cancel the IB exams, its not fair for other countries with regional stability to take these exams with no external stress, we deserve to have the same conditions as other exam takers without regional instability.

Ok so distance learning here in the UAE just got moved til 3rd of April. These circumstances have everyone worried the schools are closed always constant tensions and stress around the situation, its gonna get very hard to focus and stay maintain preparation that the IB exams require. This is really really unfair if exams continue.

I sincerely believe that the current situations make it really hard for students to perform well in their assigned test. Therefore, it is highly recommended to cancel them as it could really negatively affect their grades, leading to less possible acceptances by universities.

Many of us are studying while hearing military aircraft overhead, constant news alerts about missiles, and growing regional tensions that make it difficult to feel safe or focused. Instead of concentrating on revision, students are worrying about safety, cancelled flights, disruptions, and the uncertainty of what might happen next. The IB exams are meant to measure knowledge and academic ability, but under these conditions they risk measuring stress and fear instead. No student should have to sit one of the most important exams of their life while their region is facing instability and anxiety. The IB prides itself on fairness and global understanding. Right now, fairness means acknowledging that students in the Middle East are experiencing circumstances that make normal examination conditions impossible. We ask the IB to listen to its students and provide alternative assessment methods that reflect compassion, fairness, and reality.

Please cancel IB board exams here in Bahrain the conditions are unstable and many students don’t have the ability to actually focus on studying for their exams because many had to evacuate out of their houses and they were barely able to submit their IAs because of the current conditions and i think this war will continue for a really long time so please cancel.
