We have currently had 1 week of online which was very hard to keep up and learn especially in math where we need paper to work and plus 2 weeks of spring break with no extra help and now they have announced extra 2 weeks of online learning.

Enabling schools and students to choose whether or not they wish to take the IB test, making it available to those who wish and feel able to, and providing alternatives to those who don’t, would be most equitable.

As a parent of an IB student in Dubai, we have had drone strikes directly over our neighborhood. My son has studied through air raid alerts and genuine uncertainty about his safety.
Expecting peak academic performance under these conditions is not high standards. It is indifference. The IBO must act.

Cancel the May exams. There is a lot going on, and many students have families from different parts of the world, and they are being greatly affected by the war. Many students are also focused on survival and don't have time to study. Those who have family in other countries who are being affected by the missiles also are feeling very anxious and depressed. There is A LOT going on in our world and it is not fair that we are expected to write the IB exams when we can't even focus on studying for it, and for most of us, our future depends on this exam for university
