I agree with this, studying under the circumstances in the middle east would be considered unfair.

Honestly I feel like what’s happening right now is actually affecting how we learn and perform like missed classes lack of focus and just overall instability. Even the IB extended deadlines which already shows this isn’t a normal situation external exams are supposed to be done under equal conditions and that’s clearly not the case this year. So keeping them the same doesn’t really make sense because the results won’t fully reflect what students are actually capable of so adjusting or cancelling them would just be the fair thing to do given everything going on.

I wish that May 2025 could be cancelled because of the circumstances my country is going through, and the entire region as well. Please, we need support and understanding—help us.

Due to the current situation, many students, including myself, have been significantly affected. Disruptions such as instability, travel, limited access to reliable internet, and increased stress have made it extremely challenging to prepare adequately for these important exams.
We fully understand the importance of maintaining academic standards. However, we kindly ask for consideration of the exceptional circumstances students are facing. We hope that alternative arrangements or supportive measures can be explored to ensure fairness and student well-being during this difficult time.

Unfair to be under stress with the current circumstances in the region and be expected to revise.

I am asking the IB to take into consideration the current situation in the Middle East, so that our children can have the best possible conditions to sit their exams. This would also ensure fairness compared to students taking the IB in more stable and normal circumstances.

This is a must. It is clearly unsafe for students to sit examinations.
