We need to cancel this years IB exams

I strongly support canceling the in-world exam this year. Due to the ongoing regional tensions affecting Kuwait, students have been dealing with uncertainty, stress, and disruptions to normal schooling. The shift to online learning has also created real challenges — including reduced interaction, technical difficulties, and an overall less effective learning environment. For many of us, this is our final year of high school, and our grades play a critical role in determining our university opportunities and future paths. It is unfair to assess students under these conditions as if they had experienced a normal academic year. We are not asking for easier standards, but for fair consideration of the circumstances we have faced. I respectfully urge you to prioritize students’ well-being and futures by canceling the in-world exam and adopting a more flexible and equitable assessment approach.

It has been extremely difficult to cope with the circumstances online, and in the middle east. the world exam is very soon, and unfortunately we are not prepared. I agree that the cancellation of world exams should take place

As a student in the Middle East in hearing missiles jets and interceptions so often our schools arnt sure whether to open or not, I believe using the e same system used for Covid would be a safer decision for me and my fellow students who need the diploma but are in these tough and dangerous times
