am an IB student in the UAE, and during this time we are living in constant fear and stress. We receive several warnings each day about missile attacks, and we often hear and feel loud explosions and vibrations. I feel frustrated and upset that I have to continue preparing for exams that I may not even be able to attend.

Please cancel the IB exams atleast in Bahrain it’s so stressful for students to study with the sounds and we only have a month left and not everyone has a stable situation some have moved.

I am writing because I am genuinely concerned about going ahead with exams in the current situation. The ongoing tension and uncertainty have made it really hard to stay focused or feel mentally prepared.
It doesn’t feel like a normal or stable environment for students to perform at their best, and this is starting to affect our confidence in how fairly we’ll be assessed. I hope you can take this seriously and reconsider what is most appropriate for students at this time.

I think it is fair that they take into account the condition in which these countries are to give the IB exams

there is no way the IB goes ahead with these exams because of the daily constant pressure that the students in the middle east are facing. The best thing would be to either defer or give the grades based on predicteds and IAs. The situation is not yet safe and going ahead with the examinations would mean putting our lives in danger
