school: apg school we are unprepared to take the board exam as we weren’t able to take the mock exams which were to help prepare us for the board we wouldn’t feel safe attending school after the overwhelming experience of war The current situation also affects our ability to focus while studying, thus consequently affecting our grades, which are important as they will be sent to universities

IBDP2 student from Arabian Pearl gulf school I understand it’s not my place to decide whether we take boards or not, however in my two years of being an IB student I take it that the international baccalaureate is all about listening to their students and prioritising wellbeing. Therefore I am very hopeful that they will listen to their students concerns. I hope this situation can be addressed quickly.

As to we students couldn’t do the mock exams to prepare us for the board exam of the IB, we won’t be able to prepare and perform the exams in the best way possible. And students are going to be so stressed which will affect their health, which will add up to the anxiety and fear they have from the war.

I can’t take this anymore, my mental state is not stable and schools are not open. IB clearly doesn’t care about the students safety as they would consider all of the events and obstacles that the students had to deal with throughout these uncertain times.
