Request For Cancelation of MYP E assesment in Gulf Countries for MAY 2026

It is more than unsafe to hold the eAssessments for any IB school, considering the GCSE students and the IB Y13 students already have their exams cancelled. The situation is the same for all students, hence, it is an issue of ultimate importance to cancel the eAssessments and all other Internal Exams. Now is a time more crucial than ever, with the ceasefire indicating that there is an escalation in the situation between countries, and a very unpredictable one at that. It should be in everyone’s interests to prioritise the safety of students the region.

I think that myp should get cancelled that a levels and igces to have gotten cancelled and we aren’t really in a good place in dubai rn

its not fair to students to make them take a written test in these conditions, they dont have the right conditions to study well and perform at their maximum potential in these exams that determine their whole futur

I think the exam should still go on as situation is safe and same being in school and being at home education is the most important thing .

Don’t feel confident and comfortable with the situation going on within the uae

I request to cancel the MYP e assessment in my daughter’s school GIS In Dubai due to the current circumstances as it is unfair for the students to do exams under these war conditions and due to what they have been through in the last couple of months. With the school being online, they couldn’t focus or study to prepare for the exams. Also considering the exam logistics and their safety

I believe the E-assessment should be cancelled due to the amount of valuable learning time lost and replaced with the half standard online lessons. It is not only unjust but quite frankly cruel that half of the population of grade 10s in the UAE have already had their GCSCs cancelled and the other half have to gruel through these uncertain times with no equity or equality for that matter. The fact that they haven’t been cancelled already is unacceptable.
