We, the undersigned residents of NY Congressional District 19, respectfully petition you to participate in a free, public meeting at a central location in Sullivan County so that you may become better acquainted with the concerns of the citizens you are sworn to represent.

I really cannot believe how much momentum is building for this meeting. It all feels so surreal since I was just typing this out on my couch alone and now so many people actually want to show up and talk to the congressman. We are honestly catching some real wind in our sails here.

As a constituent from Pine Plains, it seems rather odd, if not cowardly, that you refrain from public meetings for any of the counties you serve. Hear your constituents out. Own your votes. That's what we voted for.
Please meet with your constituents, Representative Faso. We live in your district and need you to know what we're thinking, what we want, and what we fear.
As we have had no in-person public communication from you, addressed to the constituents here in the far west end of your district, Mr. Faso, we would look forward to hearing from you directly about what actions you are taking in DC that directly affect us, the country, and those our actions touch around the world.
Meet with your constituents, Mr. Faso. You represent us, so you need to know who we are. I resent constituents being labeled activists. We are constituents living, for now, in a democracy.
We need to speak with you and for you to hear us. You need to get to know us and our concerns since you are our representative. Small meetings are not adequate.
We vote.

We need to talk about retaining access to health insurance in our rural, poor, and relatively elderly 19th CD. Trumpcare will be bad for this district.
