Over the past years, you have isolated yourself from us, your constituents.
Unlike other Congressman, you do not personally engage your constituents.
You have removed yourself from the very constituents who you represent.
Regardless of party affiliation, you represent ALL constituents and we must be able to voice our concerns and speak with you personally about issues that are important to us, our familiis, District 31, and our nation.
We demand that you make yourself available to constituents in open forums.
We demand that you conduct monthly town halls on Saturdays at various locations within District 31 to make yourself accessible to ALL constituents within your district.
We are very passionate about our government!
You are our Representative to Congress!

I spent the entire morning reading through the stories you all are leaving here and honestly my heart is just heavy because it is so clear how ignored people feel. I am trying to plot out a way to get these messages directly into his office mailbox since the phone lines are just looping back to generic voicemails anyway.

I never imagined this would actually resonate with so many people but it feels like the message is finally spilling out of the screen and into the real world. My phone keeps buzzing incessantly with new notifications and honestly it is equal parts overwhelming and completely exhilarating that we are finally forcing this conversation into the open.

Emailing form letters, hiding from your constituents and having staff say "we hear what your saying" and yet never answering the questions is unacceptable. You need to be available or just retire if you no longer want to listen to us.
I sent you an email asking a question last year, and all I received from your office was a form letter...thanking me. And now I am hearing this same thing happens to many others. Your job is to help your constituents. Please do your job and recognize we exist!!!!
I have a constitutional right to be able to engage you in discussions of topics important to me and my family. You have ducked your responsibility too often. You have not been crowned as our rep for life!!
I'm a young central Texan who has lived in Carters district longer than he has been in office. I'm trying to become more active in the political process like any good citizen should, but Carter refuses to meet with his constituents. At the same time, he is perfectly ok participating in photo ops and PR stunts. We deserve better than this.
Once elected, you represent ALL citizens in your district. As a teacher and as part of a biracial family, I have immense concerns about the new administration. I am a registered Republican who voted against Mr. Carter because of his unwillingness to listen to all constituents. This must change. Now.
You keep supporting Trump and his evil agenda. Your constituents are furious. Voting you out asap
I am in your district 31 and you have done nothing for the local people but make sure your are taken care of on out tax dollars enough

We are YOUR customer. YOU work for US. YOU are not listening to your constituents. It's time to meet with us face-to-face and answer our questions and REPRESENT us. We will not tolerate anything less.
