As the mother of children who have lost their father I know how important it is in such a devastating time to have all the support you can get. Julia needs to stay in school in Tuckahoe.

This young lady has been through a tragic loss. The school district must debate wether to allow her to continue her education at no cost or be what, sent else where?
There seems too be a major misunderstanding in our country. We have no problem protecting and educating those who knowingly enter our nation illegally, and are provided an education freely, but we question it with one of our own.
Not only did the young ladies mother graduate from the school system her daughter wants to continue attending, but was a member of the faculty, and a public hearing is reguired. Wakeup America before its to late.
Look after your own, and worry about others when ours have been given the rights they where born to recieved as citizens of this nation.

The first thing everyone says when they hear of the loss of a family member is, Please let me know what I can do, how I can help ? and usually it is difficult to know how to help. Allowing Julia to remain with her friends and classmates without any added sadness or stress is how the Tuckahoe Community can help.

This girl has been through a devastating loss. She needs the stability of life long friends & school faculty that have known her & know what she has gone through. Please do the right thing. Do not take her security away. She's lost her mom...a former student & faculty member of the THS family. I'm horrified to see that it has come down to the point of a petition. This should be a no brainer...LET HER STAY AT THS!!

Tuckahoe is a wonderful inclusive community that prides itself with looking out for their own. The families in this community have rallied around to show support for countless people who have suffered or endured tragedy. Lucille was the most positive and radiant friend. We are blessed to have Julia attend the Tuckahoe Schools and I hope the current board makes a positive choice.

I am truly hoping that this board does the right thing here. Julia has been friends with my daughter since kindergarten and a part of the "Tuckahoe Family" for 9 years. Lucille was a wonderful person and dedicated teacher who helped so many at the Tuckahoe schools. Julia should be treated like "family".

Not allowing this young lady to finish up her schooling at Tuckahoe after having to deal with the passing of her mother, a life-long resident and teacher in the district, would be a tragedy. The district should be ashamed of itself for putting this young lady through this additional pain. #LETHERSTAYFORFREE

Children who lose parents are going through a hard enough time due to the adjustment. This is just another adjustment they don't need. Let them stay where they are comfortable and feel safe. Minimizing change is important.

I think she should be able to stay. Her mother dedicated her life to tuckahoe! She grew up there and then continued to work and made her life there! Her daughter was her life and she should be able to continue to make her life and future their!

This child lost her Mom... why should she have to be up routed and change her school and friends as well. This girl needs stability which she has here with her Tuckahoe family.

Given the situation, taking the child out of the Tuckahoe school, away from one of the only comforts they have left, is wrong. Tuckahoe is a close-knot community so we should act as such. Thank you.

If an employee gave their services to the board of education, and due to unfortunate situations like this one, their child should continue their education for free.

Please allow my niece Julia Dilullio to attent Tuckahoe High School tuition free. My sister-in-law Lucille Anzalone was a dedicated teacher who loved the school and the community which she grew up in and wanted her daughter to experience and be part of this tight-knit community.
