We have been told there is to be a public enquiry regarding the Grenfell fire. We the people want an INQUEST hearing. The people that perished and lost loved ones deserve this.
The steady growth of this petition reflects a profound commitment to securing a proper inquest for those affected by the tragedy. This momentum confirms that the call for a formal legal process remains a primary priority for many people.

My heart is broken. To watch them down play the loss of life in attempt to curb peoples outrage. People should be outraged.
More could have been done to prevent it.
More could have been done to save lives at the time.
More could have been done to help people afterwards.
Don't let them cover up the trail of greed and negligence with an Enquiry. We need an Inquest.

Each and every person needs to know what happened to their loved ones, be it family or friends, a public inquiry only serves our deplorable and totally inept government and gives said government, licence to reveal snippets of that public inquiry that does not incriminate. This and the previous government certainly have blood on their hands!

Vital that it be an inquest otherwise the government can control it and the public will have no input into it, including the victims!

A Tory government controlled public enquiry is wholly inadequate in these tragic circumstances. A fully transparent public inquest MUST take place to ensure full accountability and justice.
