While I am on the teachers side regarding the educational changes, I do not think children should go without report cards.

My son is going for a pediatric assessment as requested by his teacher so a report card would be helpful to demonstrate why he feels it is needed.

Give our kids their marks, they should get to see what their hard work has been for!!!!

The students deserve to see their final grades and summary comments. I agree that report cards aren't the end all and be all of educational progress however, it is a regular part of the year end. Students look forward to it. It helps close out the year. My son (who has Autism) is very confused about not getting his report. I've heard of some regions issuing reports to families by Sept 30th 2015. This is also unacceptable. The new year is already underway at that point.

To seriously resort to report cards for this dang strike stuff..come on. Every child and parent should have a right to know how a child is doing regarding schooling. I want to see if there are improvements from first semester and what my child needs to work on. If everyone would just do their dang job they signed up for and stop all these changes and request, that would be great.

We as parents and part of the working society do believe in equal rights and getting what you deserve; but not at the expense of our child's education! there is a reason we entrust you with their learning and care everyday...and it's because you do your job! and you job is not finished until the final report card has been signed.

Seriously we deserve the right to let our kids know how they did for the hours of work they have put in.
Please spend your summer and resolve this so the kids don't have to suffer this fall. Don't wait till the fall. The kids have paid enough over the last couple of years the least you can give is one summer to resolve this.
