Like many of my fellow students in Bishops Castle, I had the pleasure to be driven to school by Terry one day. His warmth and friendly demeanour were a refreshing change from our usual bus driver, Bill. Having Terry at the wheel put us all at ease and made our morning journey a much happier one as he doesn't shout at us all the time. Therefore, it is with urgency that we request the change in our school bus driver.

According to the UK's Department for Education, a positive start to the school day helps pupils arrive ready to learn and engage. Statistics even show a significant increase in students' academic performance when they have a pleasant journey to school (Department for Education, UK). As such, having Terry as our driver would undoubtedly enhance our readiness for learning.

We ask the decision makers to take into consideration our preference for a more congenial bus driver. We, the students of Bishops Castle, want Terry to be reinstated as our daily bus driver, enhancing our journey to school and thus indirectly improving our receptiveness to learning.
