For the 2017-2018 school year the school of engineering replaced many of the existing chairs in the Engineering Teaching Center at The University of Texas at Austin with hard, cold, and uncomfortable aluminum chairs. Engineering students often frequent the ETC to work on assignments and study, which can easily occupy hours. This petition requests that these aluminum chairs be removed and replaced with a more ergonomic chair.
