This is not a petition to generate animosity towards the Chairman, Dean, Faculty, or Staff. This is a petition to voice out your opinions and concerns about not having the ECE labs anymore. Please share why these labs were important to you.
This Petition was presented at the town hall meeting with the ECE Chairman Thursday, September 22nd and his office hours Friday, September 23rd. It was also presented to the Dean during his office hours Tuesday, October 4th.
We are now working to pass legislation in SEC and Student Government that will help bring back the labs.

Seeing one hundred people sign this confirms I am not the only one feeling the loss of our workspace. My own projects have suffered without that desk space and the help of peers nearby. This is a real start toward getting our resources returned.

Seeing 250 names on this list feels heavy because I remember nights when I was the only one struggling with these simulations alone. It is clear that so many of my peers are feeling this same frustration and missing that collaborative space. We have momentum now and I intend to keep pushing until the department listens.

My laptop cant handle the software. wasted half the semester just trying to get the programs to install locally.
Totally agree. Engineering is about working together and the labs are the only place that actually happens. stop taking our resources away!
The department is clearly out of touch with how we actually learn. bring back the lab space.
It sucks not having a place to go work with my lab partners. Trying to coordinate over discord is impossible for this stuff.
needed those workstations last week for my project. fixing this is a no brainer

How am i supposed to run cad simulations on my pos laptop from 2012. need the labs back asap
