Singling out a repeal the 8th banner in the midst of a myriad of other banners for a variety of political causes is shameful. Hope Galway FC cop on to themselves. Repeal the 8th.

If the board has a problem with any banner then there are ways of calmly addressing this, but this is appears to be personal, vindictive, and an unacceptable suppression of free speech . We demand a retraction of the ban & apology for action taken!

FFS. This is ridiculous. Banned for supporting a United Nations and human rights position. No wonder people have turned away from league of Ireland. It's not like you have tens of thousands of fans. Don't ban people for supporting a position that would have kept Savita Halappanavar alive in your local hospital. Ban them for violence, corruption, or crimes, not for campaigning for a woman's right to autonomy over her own body.

Don't try ton say all political flags are banned when the JFT96 flag next to it is just as political.

We need more men at football matches cherishing women & making our rights as part of football fan culture.

Come on Galway United, you can't suppress freedom to express ones views, what kind of message does that send ?
