How can it be that a person is incarcerated for having the decency to stand up and try to defend a human life against the barbarian act of murder. May God help us against this horrendous crime

The FACE Act is an impediment to, and has a chilling effect on, our 1st Amendment Rights as Americans. It’s intended to cause stiffer penalties for those peaceful and God-loving Americans who wish to speak against the harms of abortion, save the unborn, and save frightened women from making mistakes that will haunt them for the rest of their lives. There are already laws in place for trespassing, assault, disturbing the peace, etc. Making up additional laws that specifically and unfairly target those who are pro-life is unconstitutional lawfare. As the saying goes, you get the most flak when you’re over the target: this lawfare proves that the pro-life movement is having an effect on changing hearts and minds. Whether this desperate law remains or not, the truth will win and “the Gates of Hell will not prevail.” God bless you.
