Panhellenic Federation of Public Hospitals Workers (POEDIN)

To the Minister of Administrative Reform and eGovernment, Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis notification to Minister of Health Mr. Spyridon - Adonis Georgiadis

: Articles 20-32 in Law n.4250/14 sets an evaluation/ranking system of state employees. It comprises of an absurd obligatory predefined percentage of 75% of employees assessment as medium-low or poor performers.

It is nothing more than a preordained implementation of stack ranking in the underfunded and understaffed public sector bodies.

Please support our fight by signing this petition

1. Withdrawal of the unfair and inefficient system of predefined evaluation - ranking system of public sector employees.

2. Implementation of a contemporary framework for an efficient public administration through responsible, meritocratic and unimpeachable procedures without constant mobility schemes and layoffs.

3. Planning of public health services, according to internationalqualitative and quantitative standards, to address people’s needs and to provide them with free and full access to these services.

4. Improving working terms and conditions in public hospitals by adopting measures to better protect health workers from risks threatening their physical and mental health.

This is just another way to get rid of people. We are already stretched so thin in the hospitals and now this nonsense percentages? Ridiculous.

Enough with the constant stress! We need real support not these arbitrary rankings that don't mean anything except more misery for everyone working in public health.
