Don't get me wrong, I'm all for private schools. It's when private investors use government money that corruption and fraud run rampant and class warfare becomes a real problem. The government and the private sector don't mix well for the same reason church and state are a bad match- because there is an inherent conflict of interest in using government money and power to support special and private interests.
For the same reason we need to keep money out of politics and religion out of policy making, we need to shut down the corruption of charter schools which are destroying the integrity of the American educational system. Private schools flourish best when they are independently funded, and public schools function best when they are fully funded and held accountable to the people.

California schools area already hurting, and charters don't help at all. It's time to get back to funding our public schools fairly, so ALL our kids have a fair chance.
