I just spent the last hour reading through the messages from those of you stuck in Bangkok and honestly my heart is sitting in my throat because it is one thing to know the situation is bad but it is another thing entirely to read these actual stories of people running out of medicine and basic supplies while waiting for a sign of life from the local embassy. I have been drafting emails to every official I can find contacts for and even though the inbox remains empty on their end I refuse to just sit here quietly while so many of us are effectively abandoned in foreign cities.

I honestly cannot believe how fast this is growing because when I started this I was just sitting here feeling totally helpless and alone in my room.
