My 18 year old son and two friends are stranded in Sydney and need help to get home. Money is short as flights are cancelled with no refunds and no flights available to come home

Found out on news Monday emirates flight cancelled no email or call. Sudden closure of airports left everyone needing to fly out by end of Tuesday. Emirates were still advertising one way flights at 17k for Tuesday! When finally got through was told all flights full and rebooked on to 1st April. I got email an email it was cancelled yesterday morning by then could not find a flight with another airline so frustrating.

We are in real peril here no info from travel agent or Foreign Office elderly parents at home, and in very unsafe accommodation!

We followed the UK government website which stated to stay where we were and not travel. Suddenly the order was given to return home, but it was too late and the flights were either grounded or booked full!

In Sydney 4 flights cancelled 2 Singapore airlines Emirates Etihad Got seats on Qatar very expensive but we are desperate

My parents are stuck in Sydney from Birmingham UK. My dad has a full time (essential) job to go back to and cannot. I also have a younger brother in the UK and elderly grandparents that my mother needs to look after during this pandemic.

Absolutely disgusting that flights are being cancelled and airlines are taking advantage of stranded Brits around the world.
