Alderney sustainability is dependent on the airport being saved. We are at super serious risk of our economy imploding and that will be a burden to Guernsey. Not investing in the airport will be catastrophic for the islanders and a sad reflection on those with the power to make change.
By contrast, Investment will bring growth, re-generation and long term sustainability. This island is a valuable resource for many reasons but the airport is critical to its rejuvenation.
Please provide the investment to make our airport safe and sustainable.

I went to Alderney for my first time ever this year (2024) to celebrate Alderney week with my girlfriend and it was amazing! I live in Jersey so it doesn’t surprise me to hear that Guernsey don’t care enough about Alderney, I’ve seen a lot of publicity for Sark and Herme but none for Alderney which is so sad. I sincerely hope this can be sorted out soon otherwise the UK will lose one of its most beautiful, scenic and most of all fun islands, big shout out to the folks who arranged the quarry rave at the end of the train tracks!
