seniors need these programs in order to survive! Cutting. eliminating or privatizing them will mean certain death and poverty for the elderly who have worked hard and served this country with heart and soul! Shame on anyone who wants to disrespect and disenfranchise the most vulnerable of this nation's citizens!

Rep. Paulsen: please explain your positions on Medicare and Social Security? And don't send out campaign literature saying you support seniors even as you vote against them.

Social Security was (& is) working just fine. Quit borrowing its money to pay for other GOP 'must have' items. I don't believe in privatizing ANY government subsidies - be it medicare and the post office!

Social Security and Medicare are my nation's promise that I can live in relative financial security. It probably doesn't seem like much to you but I've met my part of the deal and I expect you to enforce that deal.

These are self-sustaining programs and should not be plundered by Wall Street.

If vouchers are a great idea, please see if your cohorts want their pay in vouchers.

privatizing social security would be a disaster and a betrayal of American values. Voucherizing Medicare is something I would expect from the Tea Party, not from a MN Republican. What the heck is going on with the republicans these days? I am so embarrassed by what some of my fellow Minnesotans think is sound fiscal policy. Stop representing corporate special interests and start representing the people of your district.

It seems like the only opportunity to hear Erik Paulsen speak is a town hall meeting held during church at 11:00 on Sunday and to which I am invited at 11:05 on Sunday. This has happened numerous times. I guess this means he really doesn't want me to attend and he certainly doesn't want to know what I think.

We live in CD 3 and we are 73 years old. Mr. Paulsen often relates that he supports seniors, when he sends out his "shiney broshures". How is voting to voucherize Medicare and privatize SS helping seniors? It certainly won't help our family!! We depend on both of these programs for our healthcare and to make our house payment. We'd be out on the streets without it and we've lived in MN for 73 years; worked at our professions and raised our daughters! Mr. Paulsen is out-of-touch with a majority of CD 3! We need a representative for everyone in our district! We need Sharon Sund to stand up with all of us!!
