Please reconsider the cost to customers when the demand is decreasing. We do not need to supply people to the east of us. The driftless area is extremely fragile.

This powerline is nothing more than an attempt by ATC to line their pockets at wisconsin ratepayers expense!!! Stop it now!!!

The lines are not needed for these reasons. Consumers have been asked to pay for lines that they cannot afford. Energy rates have skyrocketed in WI and MN over the last decade. 2) The lines are built with 50 year old technology designed to last for another 40 years. Ratepayers are willing to pay for the efficient use of energy. That means, the State of WI needs to set high standards for energy efficiency. This could be done by allowing ratepayers the opportunity to pay part of their energy bill towards the efficient use of energy in their homes/workplaces.

We need energy efficiency and distributed power sources--NOT a massive high power line that does nothing for Wisconsin residents.

Please reopen. The project was always questionable and new data reinforces the concerns. Running such a thing down one of the country's premier river valleys, flyways, and scenic byways is irresponsible. Other options are and will be available, but instead that line will be setting there for decades with people wondering how it was allowed to happen.

This line ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT belong in the Mississippi River Waterfowl Flyway or the HWY 35 Great River Scenic Byway!!! Get out of your cubicle and see what beauty you are missing here!

uThe PSC needs to evaluate the entire burden to the stakeholders in Wisconsin for this Corp to make money off our backs on false pretenses. You can see thru their motives as well as any member of the public can, actually even better. Leave the politics out of this long-term decision.

State regulators are a consumer's first line of defense against needless increases to our utility bills. We appreciate regulators who conscientiously consider new information when making decisions that affect the prices consumers pay.

In light of dropping demand for electricity and a potential for a continuing drop in demand, I see no need for large transmission lines to serve customers. If this project is for profit and shareholders, then it is inappropriate.
