This is a stupid idea. Tourism will suffer as most of them walk in the streets anyway. Really?? IF the first responders need to get through, turn on lights and sirens and I guarantee pedestrians will move, not like the stupid NOLA drivers

Reopen royal street's pedestrian mall! You're taking valuable business away from store owners and musicians alike. And you're also taking away one of the best tourist attractions in the whole city.

nopd doesn't care about safety. I saw the shooting death on canal and went to make a statement at the mlk and oc Haley station. They said they didn't want to hear about it because it was not their precinct.
