I find it sad that residents would purposely close a road that could cost a life due to not being able to get the emergency help needed if there was an emergency. It is inhumane for a County to allow a permanent closure of such a road.

My dad grew up on Garland Mt. We love it there. What would the residents do if the only road onto mountain were closed due to an emergency for several days?? Cherokee County please do the right thing for the tax payers of Garland Mountain... REOPEN Garland Mountain Way permanently, Thank You. ☺

Before my Mom died in 2012, there was a lot of names on a petition to re- open.
Mom grew up on Garland Mtn. I will help any way u can. Should never have been closed.

Across bridge. The bridge & road is public, should be maintained by county. Should never have been done like this just because people have money.
