I was so busy rebuilding along with focusing on getting my family back home and life back to normal, that I missed the cut off date by a few days. Would love to have the opportunity to raise my home.

as both a builder and a sandy victim myself, i saw first hand the chaos within this program. they should re-open it and get it right for people that still need help!

I would definitely like to learn more....biggest mistake I made was not shirking a public adjuster....dealing with the aftermath of a storm such as Sandy requires due diligence equivalent to that of a full time job...I stopped pursuing any more aid simply because I work a full time job and did not have the time without worrying about losing my job....

Long Beach NY residents still need financial aid to rebuild their homes destroyed by "Sandy" ASAP

We were told we didn't qualify for outdoor damages unless we took a loan. Bulkhead destroyed and now find out we missed deadline. Called twice and emailed - no response

We are still dealing with lost paperwork, case managers who don't call back and waiting for promised money. The assessment they did wasn't even close to the real cost... 3 yrs and still not done!!

After all this time, people are still not in their homes. That is ridiculous.
