Reopen Brentwood Green

I live across the street and helped plant the ivy 21 years ago. Would be nice to have access to the park again.

Yes! I support reopening Brentwood Green to its community. Such a great space and so frustrating to be locked out when we want to enjoy it.

Brentwood Green is a community park and should be available to the community. Please unlock the gates. Thank you. Roz Gamble, Brentwood Resident 28 years.

How about opening it up again? I used it with my granddaughter when she was small. It was so handy. Seems unfair to lock the community out.

Please let it be open to community since that what it was orgininally planned.

Please open up Brentwood Green! [40 year Brentwood resident]

Please keep this space open to the public.

Yes, I favor returning Brentwood Green to the community. Sharing is part of the Brentwood spirit.

We have two boys and they would enjoy access. We live on Wellesley north of Wilshire.

Please honor our efforts to work together to create a better place for the students and the community. Please reopen Brentwood Green.

I didn't know the politics but this explains it. It makes me sad to see the dirty trash strewn sidewalks and the loss of the community spirit for our neighborhood school and the use of the park.

Please open the park to the community.

I am running for the LAUSD Board to remove bureaucratic red tape that shuts down gems like this one. Please visit www.nickmelvoin.com to learn more!

I support re-opening the Brentwood park. The sooner the better. Thank you, Todd

This jewel is so emblematic of the community that is Brentwood. Please open the gates.

it's about time. We worked hard and want to see it enjoyed by all.

I agree that the community needs this open recreational space, especially since they provided the money for the improvements. However, I understood that there are issues of maintenance (cleaning), supervision and insurance coverage/liability.

I have lived in Brentwood since 1992. Spaces like Brentwood Green create community, and promote a community's support of its institutions and businesses.

Completely agree. Not OK that Brentwood residents paid for this and LAUSD keeps us out in our neighborhood!
