The school in this zoned area is already over capacity and the current road will not handle an additional 130 cars.

I live on Bay Street very near the boat ramp in a usually very quiet neighborhood. During holidays and summer and auto accidents on hwy . 98 our usually quiet neighborhood turns into a freeway. It has a lot of traffic, a lot of speeding in our children occupied neighborhood. If you add more at Tiger Point Golf course it will be just a matter of time someone is hurt or killed on our street. I say no to the changing of the variance.

OPPOSE this rezoning!!! Don't need apartments, don't need to further overload our schools, our roads, or our community.

Area is too congested. Until the road infrastructure is significantly improved on Hwy 98 and the Tiger Point Community, we oppose the rezoning.

Rezoning for apartments is not a good idea. That area cannot handle the increased demand that occur

I am against any new developments in Gulf Breeze and Tiger Point. In Tiger Point, we lack sidewalks, have standing water after rains and drive through pot holes. We should fix our current infrastructure before adding new burdens to the budget.

We have enough congestion in the area without adding more cars and service vehicles!

I oppose this development but have a gut feeling that the country and city already have an agreement. Sort of like the sham meeting concerning the golf course a few years ago.

Absolutely agree. Very bad idea to develop driving range as residential area.

Overloading the infrastructure.

Please do not rezone. As stated by others, our infrastructure would not be able to handle over a hundred new residences. Apartment dwellers do not pay real estate taxes. Who will pay for repairs to roads, the building of new schools, etc.?

As very new residents in Bay Colony, where we built our new home to try to escape congestion and traffic nightmares, among other problems associated with living in a big city, in our former hometown of Baton Rouge, we strenuously oppose this new development for all the reasons set forth in the preliminary statement.

The are only two practical routes for egress from this proposed development to Highway 98: 1) Tibet Drive to Country Club Road and 2) Tibet Drive to Santa Rosa Drive to College Parkway. Neither of these routes are sufficient to handle the existing traffic plus additional traffic from a potential development of 132 residences. When Santa Rosa develops a school on the west course as planned these same routes will be used by traffic to and from the school. These small roads simply cannot handle this traffic. A second issue arises with the relocation of the driving range that will be caused by this development. Gulf Breeze has not issued specific plans for this relocation to allow a real evaluation of the impact of this new location on Santa Rosa Shores residents and homes. How are the neighboring homes and traffic on Bayview Lane to be protected from balls in an appropriate and attractive manner? Gulf Breeze should first submit detailed plans for the relocation of the driving range and only then should the total project of moving the range and developing the property be considered as a whole. I am a resident of Santa Rosa Shores.
