Do not rezone! Highway 98 is already overcrowded. We don't need our property values degraded. We have drainage problems especially at the Sacred Heart facility. Protect our neighborhood, it is the zoning boards job.

I strongly oppose the land use variance for the portion of land known as the driving range of Tiger Point Golf Club. Tibet Drive, where I live, would be negatively affected by this change. Up until about 3 years
ago, I used to ride bikes with my grandchildren. We would ride down Tibet Drive and turn into Lion's Gate. We would ride around and around the circle and stop at the pond and see the turtles and feed the ducks. It was a fun afternoon which created fond memories for future years. Now, I no longer ride with the grandkids because, due to the influx of highway detour traffic, it is too dangerous. I was almost hit while getting the mail from my mailbox. There are times when it is hard for me to get out of my driveway. These are "golf cart approved" roads. There have, also, been several sink holes which have to be filled in on a regular basis. Now, you would be dumping even more traffic on our narrow roads. You might as well change the name to Tibet Drive Highway. I'll never be able to get out of my driveway. This is meant to be a quiet neighborhood where children play and seniors live a leisurely life enjoying their retired golf community lifestyle! This is not "progress". It is "regress". You would be destroying the enjoyable and safe lifestyle of hundreds of people of the community to enlarge the coffers of a builder's corporation. How is that fair? If this happens, who is going to compensate all of us for the value which we would be losing in our properties? As a 40 year realtor, I have always told my buyers to drive by certain houses of interest at different times of the day to "get a feel" for the neighborhood. If a potential buyer were to drive by a property on Tibet Drive, Bay Street, Country Club Rd., Tiger Point Blvd., or any other affected street, no one, in their right mind, would buy a house there. This would cause damage to us. Who will compensate us for our loss? The builder? The City of Gulf Breeze? Help!! Do the right t

My wife strongly appose this variance and will work hard to appose any commissioner who votes for it at the next election. It feels like our country commissioners are hell bent on destroying the tiger pointed neighborhood.

Keep it a driving range. The water, sewer system are not good enough to support that many new users..

I built my home and business to be next to the Tiger Point Golf Course.
My Office was built right next to the Tiger Point Driving Range. I have invested a lot of money into both my home and office and I want to continue enjoying the view of a green belt and not a apartment/housing complex. We cannot handle more traffic congestion and drainage issues in the area.
There is no reason for The City of Gulf Breeze or SSRUS TO BREAK APART THE DRIVING RANGE OR GOLF COURSE for development.
They obtained the sewage treatment facility for expansion and the course is profitable under Troon Golf Management. There is no reason to sell off the property.
Please do not approve rezoning and leave Tiger Point Driving Range and Golf Course as it was intended to be and what all residents invested to be next to (a Golf Course)
Many Residents and business owners and voters will be watching your decision.
Thank You for standing next to the Voters that elected you!

If approved this would have negative effects for the Tiger POINT area that would impact schools, traffic and our great first responders that are already overcomed and under staffed.

Please reject any further development, residential or commercial, until a comprehensive, long range plan for the county is in place. I live on Hickory Shores Blvd, and HWY 98 is already at capacity, and over-capacity in the summer. The current rapid pace of building without any overall coordination is stressing the drainage, street, school and first responder systems. PLEASE PLAN FOR THE FUTURE.
