Last September the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) expired. The LWCF took money from offshore oil leases and put it towards public lands. Whether they were federal state or local areas, the LWCF was instrumental. It needs to be brought back if we want to continue to enjoy public lands in the way the that we want to. I plan to send this petition to my MT representative and both congressmen. With your support we can bring back hope for our public lands!

Keep our land public. We use these trails every weekend and it would be a total shame to see them fall into disrepair because nobody wants to fund them.

Ridiculous that this was allowed to expire in the first place. Put the money back where it belongs.
