Speechless is an important part of the sitcom world. Not because it's funny (and it is). Not because it's heartwarming (it is). Not just because it's about special needs families (well, that's part of it...a big part of it). But because it's all those things and so much more! It's unapologetic about parents fighting for their children to receive care and access, it displays warmth and humor in the midst of frustration and anger, and it's realistic in how the world perceives special needs kids and their families and does a fair bit of myth busting about them.
It would be a shame to lose the only scripted show in this genre.

This show represented people with disabilities, it made people finally have something to relate to and realize that they aren’t the only people going through their disability, and you took that away from them

Please make more Speechless....not only does it reflect our family so well, it does it with such style. All round fantastic comedy and we have had it taken away just as we got it in the UK.
