Hello friends and fellow swimmers,

This weekend sources confirmed that as of Thursday, March 6th, Paul Moniak was approached by the UIC athletic administration and was dismissed from his position as Head Coach.

This petition is our chance to stand up for a coach who has stood by us and stood by this program for 13 consecutive years. By signing this, you are declaring to the UIC athletic administration that Paul Moniak has not only played a tremendous role in the personal and athletic development of yourselves but will also do the same for all those who have yet to join the UIC Swimming & Diving Program.

We must stand together, united as one voice, in defense of a great coach and mentor to us all. There is no one who could provide more dedication, more work ethic, and more commitment to the development of this program than Paul Moniak. He has earned the undoubting loyalty of everyone who has worked with him.
