It’s clear here within all the comments that Ms. Do is a valuable asset to the school, the students and the community. It is very hard to come across a principal that puts the children’s needs before their own and this is clearly what Ms. Do has done for the past 20 years. RENEW HER CONTRACT!

As a fellow educator, sometimes I find that when the community responds to things I do in a negative way, there may be an opportunity for further reflection. St. Linus families are now asking for that reflection, and I urge you to reconsider replacing Ms. Do.

Ms.Do is the most hard working principal I have ever seen. She cares about the kids and cares about the school. When I was student, she fixed all the classrooms, made a new science lab, and she even made a new playground. There is no reason why she should not be principal again.

Ms. Do's dedication to St. Linus for over 20 years is a testament to her unwavering commitment to our school community. She is more than just a principal; she is a deeply beloved member of our St. Linus family. Her leadership and dedication have not only fostered a nurturing environment for our children, but are also clearly evident in the remarkable transformations she has spearheaded, from the new playground to the essential classroom upgrades. These renovations have significantly enhanced the learning experience. Our family, having been here for over 9 years, has witnessed firsthand her exceptional care for students, teachers, and parents. Her departure would irrevocably change the heart of our school, and we strongly believe it would result in families seeking alternative education. We urge the decision-makers to recognize her truly invaluable contributions and ensure her continued presence.

As a family member of Ms. Do, I wanted to maintain an unbiased perspective to ensure that this petition serves its intended purpose. It has been disheartening and frustrating to witness this decision unfold. Over the past 25 years, I have witnessed my sister’s unwavering dedication and commitment to the St. Linus community, first hand. The voluntary comments from alumni, current students, families of students, and faculty serve as a genuine testament to the exceptional qualities of my sister as a principal and a compassionate individual. These kind words of support only reinforce our existing knowledge and further enhance our sense of honor and gratitude for having someone of such integrity in our family.

Ms. Thu Do has always been an exemplary teacher and administrator. I have known her for decades since she first started at St. Linus where I worked as bookkeeper and office manager.
