I belong to the so unloved over 49s. But being older I can appreciate excellent TV and this was in all aspects, acting, directing, storyline more than excellent. If Longmire remains cancelled then I have little hope for the future of TV as it will be in just trash TV.

Where I live i'm just watching Series 2 at the moment but i heard that after Series 3 that it was for the chop!! Really are you well, this is a brillant series, from storylines, characters, etc. I can't believe it was dropped, but heh why should i be surprised they tried to shut down 'Ripper Street' because of low ratings. If it isn't that excuse its well its not catching the right kind of people the channel are looking for in otherwords the youngsters (who don't watch TV anyway) Why is it always focusing on them, its actually rather insulting that after a certain age what exactly do they want us to watch, a BLANK SCREEN!! Really they should be ashamed. I hope more people petition to save it.

This show is fantastic...great actors, great writing, one of the best on air. Top rated A&E, so why? Get rid of some of the other shows, but not Longmire. There is nothing that compares to this show.

I'm watching Longmire re-runs for the third time and just had to find a petition to sign. This is one of the very best shows on TV. I cannot imagine it not coming back.
