A&E finally came to their senses and renewed the show because they knew we were not going to let them bury it. It took way too long to drag this decision out of their offices but we won. Enjoy the next season and keep holding these networks accountable.

A&E is ignoring their own ratings and treating us like we do not exist. We need to hit this milestone right now to force them to look at these numbers.

It would be a shame to loose such a good show. I am so sick of teen programming. This is a great program. We discuss the show at work when we see an episode. Did he kill his own son or not. We must know!
I can't tell you how disappointed I was to hear Longmire had been cancelled. Finally a show with some substance. What could A&E have been thinking? Do they honestly think 6 consecutive episodes of Duck Dynasty and Whalbergers is meaningful programming?
I belong to the so unloved over 49s. But being older I can appreciate excellent TV and this was in all aspects, acting, directing, storyline more than excellent. If Longmire remains cancelled then I have little hope for the future of TV as it will be in just trash TV.
Comments: Can someone please recognize good programming when they see it. Great stories, I love the Cheyenne lore. What other show is out there like this right now. P.S. no one cancels Starbuck (Katee Sackoff)!
Not many shows that appeal & keep me engaged. I am always sad when an episode ends and I look forward to the next week for a new adventure and a continuation of the interwoven plot lines. Excellent writing, stellar acting, beautiful location.
This show deserves more and so do the people that have supported it

I'm Longmire obsessed! I had not heard of the show until this season, but I quickly remedied that error with a two day "binge." This show combines the best of mystery, drama, comedy and western genres to produce episodes that make viewers care about the cast and the storyline.
