We the students recognize Ramapo College’s past membership to The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). We acknowledge that the college is capable of focusing much more toward creating a sustainable campus. We urge the Provost to renew our membership with AASHE, and that changes be made toward decreasing the college’s carbon footprint.

AASHE membership will provide Ramapo College with a resource base of sustainability tools that can be initiated on campus. Working towards the goal of reduced carbon emissions, the President's Climate Commitment will be well complimented with membership to AASHE.
