Removing Anderson Howard from the landings

.Has the landings reduced its standards For their staff this fortnight pay was disappointing you could hear and see the staff sad and disappointed faces. How can the new executive sous chef who was brought in by chef alan from Antigua be so disrespectful towards the kitchen and restaurant staff by using profane language during service time is that the level of respect tolerated at the landings, From food quality to food service, beach club Mediterranean lunch, room service and dinner menu is crap no flavor to come eat and lasagna, tasteless unseasoned burgers, flatbread , mushrooms sandwich, meatballs and cornmeal, porridge risotto ,tasteless chicken shawarma were are the Caribbean flavors, Food service is very poor restaurant staff are not properly trained on menu knowledge and selling products to guest. What has the executive chef brought to the table since employed nothing food still not good, structure still a mess, food costs still high with crappie and expensive products, Is the landings a family ground managers get hired based on family relation. From Anderson bring in his wife family Jennifer brought in her sister Now Alan his wife family I pray and hope the new general manager brings better structure to this resort and rid of those bad apples that are managers

The restaurant standards has fallen really bad.i have been working there in another department and is preference only , sme of the senior staffs are doing what they want.no standards. We are quick to say management is the problem but smetmes the problem lay in front of us..sme of the senior staffs wanted tarma gone so they can have their way..come on during service bartenders are on their phones ,the bar manager has no say and the seniorbstaffs seat in the restaurant when they have guest dinning.the staffs are seating in the restaurant like they are on holidays .two of the beach staffs are standing by the bar with no posture ,leaning like they are guest tell me where is the service.sme of the senior staffs at the calaloo restaurant seat guest and turn their back and gather in small gossip.the restaurant has no standards.sme of the supervisor are the ones leading the gossip.what are they getting paid for.u should hear the way sme of the senior staffs answer the supervisors.am saying this cause its a disaster. The f and better manager is too soft sme of these staffs are coming to work like it is what it is..when u look on the beach u only see two staffs working or one while the other beach staffs are busy leaning by the bar or in the bar or just standing doing nothing.sme of the bartenders are outside on their phones and sme of the restaurant staffs are seating in the restaurant. Where has the standards gone No leader ship and it is sad.

I used to work at the landings and I have seen alot of staffs that's had working and full of potential. But they keep bringing in other people for positions.the staffs need to be given opportunities. The restaurant got several senior staffs i believe that can take on different roles.they can implement captain positions for sme of the senior staffs and the beach servers as well they can have a captain for the beach and restaurants. Its time smeone promote the staffs that goes all out.but then again there are full of preferences...

What i do not understand there are sme lazy staffs from the restaurant all they do is gossip.just walk in any of the restaurants u see them gathering gossiping everyday esthetic same set and is always the same staffs.i hope the new restaurant manager stop this and the f and b manager look in to this.thess staffs can never do this in another resort.u get these staff gathering calaloo gossiping instead of interacting with their guest.beach club always have staff standing in front of the bar talking .when management are around it stops but den again the supervisors entertaining these things.they have preferences and friends while other staffs are working hard.its sad how the standards has falling in these resorts.

Less than a week 10 staff resigned. And many more to resigned. Landings not paying severance pay don't waste your time. Since the landings isn't taking its staff serious, best things for us to do is leave. There are new hotels opening in st lucia eg A'ila looking for staffs send your application guys. Today is Christmas and no strike. What a damn shame! Did the 2% fool you all? There should have been a massive strike to show that we really and truly want that Howard prick out as manager. Staff, you have showed that you eh ready yet and more critically, cowards!!! Howard will continue to put the screws to all of you and to include the department heads who have their heads in the sand. BOD members, BOD members what is the update on Anderson Howard?? you all have convinently decided to stay mute on this matter. initial reports was that Anderson had snuck into the hotel and was hiding in his room. Now unconfirmed reports is that he is hiding at sandals grande while still being the GM of the landings hotel. Susan chayna clearly this situation is beyond urll capacity to handle. Apart from Susan who previously worked for the FBI it Seems like most of the BOD members are very wealthy but lack the professional skill sets needed to make informed decisions as it pertains to the hotel. Todate all the useless managers and directors that Howard hired are still prancing aimlessly on the property getting salaries of up to $20, 000 monthly plus sharing in the service charge that should only be giving to front line staff. This situation has gotten from bad to worst. Between last week and this week a few more staff members have resigned. the staff are totally demotivated. Come January 2026 I am definitely trying to get out of this hotel.

As a result, staff are reportedly not being compensated fairly or consistently, leading to reduced morale, staff turnover, and a decline in service standards. These issues are already reflected in declining occupancy rates at The Landings—once a flagship resort that was widely regarded as a benchmark within the industry and admired by shareholders of other resorts. The continued mismanagement of such a prominent property poses a reputational risk not only to the resort itself but to the wider tourism product. If left unaddressed, this situation risks undermining confidence in our hospitality sector at a time when professionalism, fair labor practices, and service excellence are critical to maintaining international competitiveness. I respectfully urge the Government to take this matter seriously and to encourage appropriate intervention. In particular, the homeowners should be required to appoint a qualified, independent, and professional board with proven hospitality and governance expertise to oversee the resort’s operations, restore staff confidence, and safeguard the long-term viability of the property.
