I am ashamed to say that the town I grew up in is also guilty of disrespecting the veterans. This type of degredation is not only in the Kawartha's.

I live in The City of Kawartha Lakes and I believe Police Chief John Hagarty has definitely abused his authority!! He should be asked to step down.

comparing Vets who ride bike , to what fiction novel he has read , or too much SOA... He has publicly embarrassed his position , himself and All Veterans who ride.. has emphasized the stereotype of honest citizens who ride Motorcycles as outlaws and have painted us with the same brush.. Your badge and gun doesn't give you to walk around as a Gestapo thug... And we know what happened to those bastards when they infringed on peoples freedom. he's not fit to hold this position .. remove his commie ass..

Shame on John Hagarty. Our Legions are in trouble as it is (I am a member) and to blatantly shoot down those who are supporting our fallen, our retired and our current soldiers is unforgiveable. Shame on you John Hagarty. Do the honourable thing and step away from the office that deserves someone who has respect for our troops.

I am amazed that in this day and time we still have such narrow minded people in positions of authority.In 40 plus years of motorcycle riding I believe this person should needs to just relax and go for a ride to see what he is missing.

Disgusted!!! We have many ex service biker organisations in the UK. They do a lot of work for charities. It doesn't matter how you dress!!! These guys are as much entitled to show their REspect as the dignataries who have probably had not served their country!!! I am fuming. From a former British Army Warrant Officer Roy Engineers!

This is disgusting, obviously this man has his own laws and no friend of the freedoms we exercise in Canada. Its unfortunate I spent 36 years in the military defending the rights for likes of him.
