An east London music studio used by some of the world’s biggest pop stars has become the target of a furious hate campaign after installing a controversial Michael Jackson sculpture. The Premises Studios, where Arctic Monkeys, Amy Winehouse, Al Green and Nina Simone have all recorded, is getting hate mail and threats from angry Jacko fans for a new artwork called ‘Madonna and Child.’ The piece, by Swedish-born sculptor Maria von Köhler, depicts the famous 2002 moment in Berlin when the King of Pop dangled his baby out of a window. True to the original incident, the life-size statue leans dangerously out of a high window at the studio - 20ft above the ground. Web surfers are using forums to blast the work. This Is Not Art !!!!!
