She gave my best friend’s ex-husband custody after they had been solely in the custody of their mother for over 12 years, and my friend went into a deep depression from which she has never fully recovered.
My ex-wife took me to court after five years of being divorced and this judge believed everything that she said but everything that came out of my mouth was a lie. I hated being in her courtroom. She talked down on me and my current wife. Even after doing what i was told she threw me in jail for six months.

I know she is off the bench now. Carol Soloman was a very sick lady. The judicial family in Nashville knew they had a problem with Judge Soloman, but they did not take action. Also, I read some of the comments, one of the commenter is Carol Soloman , she always yelled, this is not a Jerry Springer court. Reread the comnents, you can read the defense in her comnents to a lady/grandmother . So proud she is off the bench. Hope she is getting the mental help she needs.

I am very please to hear that Carol Soloman was not reelected as judge this term just sorry that she was ever elected as a judge & ruined so many lives as well mines before she was voted out of office. Thank God !!!

I to was a victim of Carol Solomons Court room slander ,vindictive,hungry money spouse, and hungry lawyers whom I got treated just as Freeda Simmons and Autumn Catlett. Thank God that this less than a human (Carol Solomon) did not get re-elected . Carol would not hear both sides of the story, It was as if she had already made a decision before the hearing begun. She has destroyed many lives and this behavior that she has presented to the public does place a bitter and untrusted value in the judicial system.

This terrible judge destroyed my families life. I couldn't get it out of her court. We are still paying for it. I can't believe she is still there. When will she be stopped!!

I have witnessed her in the court room making bias and predicial decisions on several cases without hearing both sides of the people involved. I think that she erases our confidence that the court systems are fair.

She was taking numerous pills while on the bench, is absolutely ignorant to and about what a reasonable expectation of "meaningful interaction" truly is. She said: "I believe it is important to have the Father involved, I'll set Saturdays from 10 to 6 for visitation. Numerous people in and around the Judiciary have ALL made some exclamation from the mere mention of her name, now I know why.

Is there anything people can do who have been impacted and affected by her ruling as a judge presiding over their case? I had her as my judge from 2007-2008 and now my life is in shambles. Can we file some sort of Class Action lawsuit or go before the TN Court of the Judiciary and file a complaint? Surely, something can be done to give justice to so many victims.

I thought this 5-time divorcee had been removed from hearing family court cases for extreme bias, erratic behavior, and demeaning people unnecessarily in 8th Circuit. As a father totally screwed over regarding custody of my young son, I was thrilled. I witnessed all of these things myself. She also "forgot" to pay property tax on two homes she owned, to which I say, "Ignorance of the law is no excuse." I was sickened to see a "Keep Carol Soloman" sign in a yard this weekend (3/9/14). Is she still hearing family law or any other type of cases? She should not be, and I can't find any recent posts on the internet.
