This is a petition to get rid of the new feature Line WEBTOON has implemented, called Daily Pass. I feel that this is just trying to get more money out of readers such as myself, and i believe that it is becoming just like the other comic apps we all hate. I've installed and uninstalled Webtoons so many times because of this. It's the reason I stopped using Wattpad as a kid. We couldn't afford books, and I had no library near me, so I read on there until they made it so you had to pay. I'm so disappointed in Webtoons for doing the same thing.
It sucks because series I subscribed to a couple of years ago, when all episodes were FREE, are now locked behind daily pass. I like to binge completed series and now I can't. And my life is too hectic to remember to go back for the daily pass EVERY DAY.
I feel that with daily pass, some readers may not want to read completed series and in the end, the older series get completely forgotten. The joy of reading webtoon is binge reading. But if webtoon can’t even offer that, people will start moving to other sites. They may even turn to piracy.
I want to support the artist, but I'm not paying $100's per finished webtoon and I'm also not going to read a chapter a day. I'd literally rather never read the webtoon. I'll happily sit through an ad per episode, or pay for a subscription.
Please remove daily pass. I read Webtoons from my computer, so I can't read daily pass Webtoons at all! Plus, I can't spend money on Webtoons, so I have always used this site because it is free. :(
webtoon is taking away free content. as someone using webtoon for multiple years, they limit u from reading without the app, then half the series’ i read make the last 3 episodes coins, and now daily pass is gone too? ur joking. I can’t read my fav series’ bc of webtoon’s greedy plans. sign this petition.
WEBTOON daily pass sucks and it also shouldn’t charge for episodes when I’m only 5 episodes or 2 episodes in it sucks.

I am absolutely disgusted by the Daily Pass. I'm a person who re-reads comics and I think it's garbage that Webtoon is trying to force us to spend even more money. I already pay for fast pass on several series, and it's ridiculous we're expected to pay MORE for a completed series!
