Summit is to education what McDonald’s is to food. It’s GARBAGE. Summit is garbage education and it should be deleted from the American system. Summit violates personal privacy, it is damaging to the brain (looking at a screen is not healthy for a developing mind, let alone a fully formed one), and it is inferior in that studies have shown that people absorb information more readily when reading from a book over a screen. It would be easy to sit back and allow Mark Zuckerburg and Bill Gates to spend millions of dollars on Summit marketing (which they are doing), but if there is one instance in modern times when parents should advocate on behalf of their children and disallow Summit to take root in their schools, now is the time. Educate yourself as to Summit and you will see how dangerous it really is.

We in Indiana, PA are rooting for you! Summit Platform was fast tracked into our junior High without parental outreach or consent. Our superintendent offered up our 6th grade class for this poor experiment and we are fighting too! Good luck!

Joining forces with you from Cheshire, CT. This is not just a town issue. We need to pool resources, data and contacts and work together to put this program to bed, for good!

I live in Cheshire, CT and we are fighting Summit as well. Get this crap program out of every school! Use researched based materials, not education self check-out! Let the teachers teach!
