Nick Spera should not be placed in any type of position where he has contact with minors. He uses his power to abuse students in many different ways. I consider him a predator and a victimizer. All of the accusations against him should be taken seriously and he should be held responsible for all of the abuse he has committed against students, parents, and staff through out the years.

He's the reason I got kicked out of school back in 2007 at Norwich tech. Was studying after school for my final exams coming up and he accused me of selling drugs on school property. No reason at all. He just had it out for me. Pulled me into his office and did an illegal strip search. I was 16 so didn't really know my rights back then unfortunately.. He found nothing because I wouldn't do that. But what I did have was Tylenol. (the ones in the foil you have to pop out so you know it is Tylenol) which I placed on his desk right off the rip in the beginning. He saw and didn't care about it. Then he got mad when he found no drugs. He said something along the lines "watch out I'm coming for you". When I started putting my belongings away, he grabbed the Tylenol and said "what's this?" Called the police on me. Then he finally called my parents and the principal. Police said they where totally legal and there's nothing they could do. So finally he suspended me for 10 days because I didn't bring them to the nurse. That 10 days I had no material to study for my finals and the final was on day 8 out of the 10. Failed out by a few points. And that Sh*t eating grin he had I'll never forget.
This was back in 2007. To think that it wasn't just me and his reign of terror is still continuing to this day... I don't even have the words to express how I feel about that. I don't hate people unless they really cross a line. I've been around the block quite a bit since then, come across many people, many story's and encounters. When I think of the word, hate. Nick Spera is the only person who comes to mind. He should not be around children period.
There are many story's from Norwich Tech too with other people. I could write a novel on his favoritism and the... I'm trying not to swear.. messed up way he would kids he simply didn't like.

This man is corrupt, cruel, and abusive to his students and coworkers. Allowing him to remain in a managerial position is negligent! His legacy in his students is one of unkindness, unfairness, and cruelty. Look into him. Seriously.

He mentally abused my girls. One of them was pressured on getting above good grades and until today has anxiety issues. My other daughter was kicked put of the school for not being as perfect as he expected her to be

I know this is an old petition but my 7yr old son was recently on his baseball team. When Spera got mad at my husband for something ridiculous, he starting bullying my little boy on and off the field,. He did many cruel things for a coach to do to an innocent 7year old kid. It’s disturbing that this man is still allowed to work with children and be a coach.

No way should mr. Spera be around children, the heartbreaking accounts of what some of them went through is horrifying and the fact that no one did anything. And how he favored the kids that have money its disgusting that the other kids felt depressed and bullied by a principal!! What is wrong with this picture that a petition has to be signed to have him removed!!

My son endured 4 yrs of abuse from Spera and graduated. This man should never ever be allowed to affect another students life. Shame on the education system in Ct for protecting this bully.

I have first hand bad experiences with this man from school that I still talk about to this day, and I graduated high school in 2007. I cannot forget how bad of a teacher he is.
