LibertyObserver.com - On May 5, 2010, Vice Principal Miguel Rodriguez of the Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, California, violated the civil rights and first amendment rights of 5 students who wore American flag t-shirts to school on Cinco de Mayo. The students were given an ultimatum: turn the American shirts inside out, or go home. The students refused to turn the shirts inside-out because it was disrespectful and in turn were sent home.
"We, the signers of this petition, are calling for the immediate termination of Vice Principal Miguel Rodriguez and any other administrators who were directly involved in the decision to send these children home for showing their patriotism for their country."
Retired veteran tired of having rights trampled on and the American flag direspected. Not to mention, looks like a conflict of interest to have a Hispanic man making this decision.
