Every time I go over them I worry what damage they might do to my car. The noise must also be very loud as car go over them for the residents near by.

This style of speed reduction cushion is suited to use on a 20 MPH residential side street with little traffic, or within a car park. Driving over them in a normal car at anything more than a walking pace risks damage to wheels, suspension or underbody components. The chicane at the eastern end of Rampton is dangerous too as it is placed too close to a blind bend. On entering the village, if you have to stop for oncoming traffic, you have to perform a pretty quick get-away to be sure of not meeting another vehicle head on that is coming round the bend.

The speed bumps are too high and need to be changed or removed. They are too close together and are damaging cars even when they slow down.

They are not making any difference to the speed of anybechicle and they are really to high and also have noticed a lot of left and broken off exhausts which is a hazard to other car drivers or could even be a fatal accident to a motorcyclist especially at night time is that what you want on your conciues. a DEATH???????

These speed bumps are dangerous, cause damage to vehicles passing over them, and are totally unnecessary. Speeding has never been a problem in Rampton - it only takes one vehicle to drive within the permitted limit and all following vehicles must then follow suit. Please remove these speed bumps, and why not get rid of the ridiculous chicanes too. These really are dangerous - forcing vehicles onto the wrong side of the road is never going to be a good strategy for improving road safety.

They are particularly vicious speed bumps and even at extremely slow speed are aggravating my back condition. They are also badly placed as they are right o the edge of the village so all it does is slow people down as they are about to come out of the limit anyway or slow people down as they come into the village and then you often see people speeding up excessively after going over them which means they are still speeding through the main part of the village so they are not helping anything and if anything are counter-productive!

These speed cushions are too high and in the wrong position. I question the need for them at all. Yes they slow traffic entering Rampton from Willingham but then the traffic speeds up on the straight High Street. It's a pity our pathetic County Council don't spend OUR money filling in pot holes instead of these unnecessary dangerous traffic hazards.

I have to travel to Histon regularly from Willingham to visit my elderly father and these bumps even at 10 miles per hour are too high for my car without damage so I am forced to go via the busy A14 to Oakington and so to Cottenham and back with my 84 year old disabled father on board sometimes, a double length journey. These are not necessary as they are on a bend where people don't go silly speeds..

These are very harsh and cause a lot of traffic concetenering, I can only think the highways have had to put them there because they have put the other lane-changing restriction around a blind bend !

These speed bumps must be removed as soon as possible. They are too high, in a dangerous position and are costing motorists a fortune in car repairs. I need 4 new tyres - something which has never happened in my 28 years of commuting through this village. All tyres worn on the inside. Had my tracking checked and it is fine. Can only put it down to the speed bumps as this has never happened in the past. Will the Council reimburse the £400 bill I now have?

I reported these a few weeks ago on the county council's "Report It" website but they haven't responded. Completely inappropriate for the 30mph speed limit.

I travel through Rampton twice a day and have to slow down and almost stop to go over the bumps. I am concerned about the increased pollution through cars stopping and starting and the possible damage it causes to my car to go over such a vicious bump.
