I damaged a tyre on my car as I couldn’t see these speed bumps in the dark, which compromised my safety on the road. The speed bumps are too high and i don’t have a 4WD! These speed bumps are damaging my car!!!!!!!

Speed bumps are a retrograde step and should be outlawed.

Way too high and severe and dangerous. Has damaged my car, even when travelling at 20mph. If you hit them at 30mph (the speed allowed) your car would take off! I now traverse them at around 5mph to avoid further damage. Not fit for purpose.

nasty, cheap and dangerous to motorists- feel sorry for people living near to them and guilty to use the road on the way to make jam at Histon- hopefully tv coverage today will force issue to remove them

Too high. You have to slow down almost to a stop. Bad for pollution!

Get rid! absolutely no point in having them. People will still speed through the village anyway.

The ramps are too high and damage lower cars like mine, I would think that I'm not the only one that has this problem.

Poorly placed, too high, badly signposted. Dangerous to traffic and damaging to vehicles. Remove them and the badly designed one way gates in the village as well.

Completely unsuitable for purpose. These would be at home in a 5-10 mph restricted area. They are bunching up traffic horribly on my morning commute and they are bad for the environment. There is not a single reason for these to stay. I'm fairly new to the area (1 year) but have not heard of any accidents on this road. What prompted their introduction?

they are completely over the top - larger vehicles/lorries who speed are unaffected yet me in a fiat 500 needs to slow down to at least 15 mph to avoid any damage to my car. why so excessive when the speed limit is 30mph?!!

These forms of speed bumps cause a very severe hazard to all road users crossing over them. They are too high and too wide to effectively and safely reduce the speed of flowing traffic without damaging vehicles or forcing great reduction in speed. Smaller speed bumps such as the ones found in Oakington and Westwick are much safer and more suitable to impose the reduced speed and safer flow of traffic.

I'm afraid these speed reduction measures have not made the slightest bit of difference and have thrown my wheel tracking off balance.

Please remove them as they are of no use because they are not even the right size for any car to go over without damaging suspension plus aggravate my back condition

The speed bumps do not allow for the safe or comfortable passage of traffic at the intended speed. The slowing down and queuing causes a traffic hazard, as well noise and fumes locally. Neither these bumps nor the plainly obstructive chicanes (which cause jams and further fumes in busy periods) achieve their aims because drivers can speed up again in seconds.

These humps are awful. The worst by a country mile. Badly sited, badly proportioned, and just bad for everybody. A bad use of public money, my money! I wonder how many school books, or hospital dressings cost the equivalent of installing those humps.

Utterly unsuitable! This is a 30mph zone but it is necessary to drop to 20mph or less to navigate these.
The pinch points are dangerously close to the bends as well. Highly dangerous
