The students of College Of Agric And Natural Resources are saddened by the fact that we are paying for services which we do not benefit from as students.
The Bill for the 2016/2017 academic year came with two new components; practical training and field trip fee which amounted to a sum of Ghc300. This fee has increase to Ghc346 per the proposed fees schedule for 2017/2018 academic year awaiting approval by parliament although last year we did not even benefit from it.
We pay for the field trip and practicals fee allocated in the bill yet we still pay for every practical and field trip we undertake, which in effect makes it a double payment for services we do not actually benefit from.
The students of the College Of Agric And Natural Resources mostly do not embark on any field trip throughout the academic year and even when we do,it is organised through the funds raised by students.
We feel being cheated and over-burden by this difficulty we encounter and hence we want to pay for any practical or field trip we shall undertake ourselves since that's what we have been doing for the previous years.

We feel we are being cheated because even when the need arises for us to undertake a practical lesson we still have to conrribute wity the excuse that it takes a long time to get funds from the University authority.This is simple not fair and whould be scraaped out of the bill
yes this very true because am a student of natural resources management we do not embark on any field trip I could remember last semester or two we embarked on a trip and that one we even paid.
it should be remove because they bill us but I have to purchase my own practical materials before doing my practicals
Environmental science student also pay same I am currently in final year and never been to one field trip yet each year pay for it. It is not fair to pay for services not rendered that is day light robbery
The school has cheated us for too long, it's high time the right things are done. Last year although we paid 200gh as practical fees, we could not do a Woodscience practicals because we refused to pay Ghc 40.

Very true indeed, it's left with my one year on campus, up till now I don't know what we do with the amount we pay as practical training, the only practicals we did was in only two semesters. We're just using lab computer
