Enough is enough. Warnings and suspensions are not enough. This is not a new issue and they will not change unless it is shown that these issues are taken seriously.

The culture is toxic and cyclical. The chapter needs to be phased out for clear and obvious reasons

I stand with the women of Augustana, and the rest of the student body who have, for too long now, been unduly subjected to a culture of intimidation and insecurity by these guys' antics. It's time for the Poobahs to go. Augie administration: please step up, please be responsible, and please do what's right.

What is worse than rape? Who are the worse offenders? This has been going on for so many years they have done nothing to change.

This is terrible, and shame on the university for not handling it properly in the first place.

Empty "suspensions" are not how you make campus safe. I'm embarrassed to be associated with an institution that values donors over its students. I will no longer be donating to the College in the future.

About time

Being a POP alumni, this wasn’t the culture of the fraternity. Ya, there are certainly individuals that thought they were above others, but that was the case with just about any group at Augie. No excuses for the individual(s) involved in this petition, completely unacceptable. I would never send my kid to this privileged school. I would also never sign a petition to punish any one particular fraternity at this school because there were much worse offenders when I was there and I’m sure it changes year to year.

To turn a blind eye and excuse any act of sexual assault, additionally if there have been other similar offences too is disgusting.

I stand with The women of Augustana. I need to feel safe on this campus. Enough is enough.

Other Greek organizations have been removed from campus for less egregious activities. Why is the Phi Omega Phi fraternity being offered so much leniency by the college administration? The loss of their current 2020 pledge class and fraternity charter for at least one to two years would be a good start -maybe longer. Four to eight weeks is just another slap on the wrist for a group that appears to operate above the law.

The poobahs should have been removed a long time ago. They have a history of degrading women and showing nude pictures at a rush event should be the last straw for augie.

This fraternity is never going to change and Augie has given them far too many chances to change already. Every year they are required to apologize for their behavior related to sexual assault, rape. sexual exploitation of women, and drug use. Augie ends this or law enforcement will. Time to take this to the police department. Time for real action.

This is absolutely disgusting. This isn’t the first time. You keep this frat for what? It’s only going to get worse

I graduated from Augustana in 2013. The Poobahs had a bad reputation then and it's clear they still do. Enough is enough. People pay too much to go to this school to tolerate behavior like this.

Can’t have this happening anymore. I have great friends who are members of POP, however there continually are individuals that give the group a bad name.
