Remove Phi Omega Phi from Augustana’s Greek Life Program

POP has always been one of the groups freshman girls are warned to stay away from. The group has historically displayed predatory behavior toward the women on campus, and need to be banned. These are serious allegations and SHOULD NEVER have been tolerated to begin with.

Rape culture is unacceptable!

I have nothing against old member of POP or even some of the current members. I do have issues when some members are proud of committing acts of sexual assault and claim that college is “all about sex”.

Poobahs are disgusting and have been a burden on AUGUSTANA for too long. Any other group would have been kicked off already. Augustana only cares about money and couldn’t care less about its students

The POP crisis has been going on for YEARS and Augustana never does anything about it. Last year we dedicated an entire day to standing up against mainly, this fraternity. Survivors, victims and supporters alike came to cry and grieve, share their story from a place of vulnerability, invited the news. Yet Augustana still lets them slide due to the size of their wallet. That, shows the female community that Augustana does not care about them, does not stand with them, and refuses to hear their voice. This fraternity should be disbanded and never to return.

Year after year POP has had opportunities to hold themselves accountable. Year after year they’ve failed to do so. Consequences are long overdue.

If you called them what their letters spell they would be the poops, but l prefer to call them poobags because thats what they are

As a woman in Greek life, I feel disgusted to have this image attached with Greek life. Objectifying women to promote your image, whether they consented or not, is horrendous.

I loved my time at Augustana, but associating Augie with the Poohbahs is so disappointing and disgusting. I am horrified that they weren't more heavily punished or disbanded after a rape that occurred in one of their houses and the president had "no comment" about the situation. Please get rid of them.

This has gone on way too long. I’m disgusted as a member of Greek Life, a woman, and as a person. Enough is enough, and this whole second chance business is getting old.
